3/26/24 – This is a nice example of a Chinese SKS Type 56, showing the “Triangle 26” which is Factory 26,the Jianshe Arsenal. The serial number dates it to 1967. All matching except for the stock, which appears somewhat older. Small import mark up near the muzzle. The bluing rates roughly 90% with minor finish loss throughout. The threaded muzzle features a protective bushing. The bayonet fits over the muzzle once the bushing is removed. The stock has minor handling marks, but is still in great condition. The bore is very good and rates an 8 of 10. Mechanically sound with smooth action. Includes a canvas sling.
